France, horror in Burgundy, 2 infant bodies in freezer, mother arrested

(Adnkronos) – Horror in the Burgundy region, France, where a woman in her fifties was arrested by police after the discovery of the bodies of two newborns in the freezer of her home in Aillevillers-et-Lyaumont. Le Figaro reports that the woman is suspected of double infanticide. 

The woman had fled the home, where a man had discovered the body of a newborn and alerted the police. Upon their arrival, officers found a second body. The woman, who has nine children from two marriages, had sought refuge in the home of one of them in Boulogne-Billancourt, in the Parisian region, and was arrested there during the night.
