(Adnkronos) – The government must continue its policy of diversifying export markets and its focus on growth diplomacy, which are producing “excellent” results, foreign minister Antonio Tajani stated Thursday, reacting to the latest foreign trade figures from central statistics agency Istat.
“Official data published today by #Istat on foreign trade confirm that the strategy of the Italian Government and the #Foreign Ministry to boost Italian #exports is yielding excellent results,” Tajani wrote on X.
“Our presence on international markets has been further strengthened: in December 2025, Italian exports to non-EU markets grew by +4.6%,” read the post.
“Exports to #ASEAN countries also performed well, growing by +47.8%,” the post continued.
“We must continue to diversify our markets and focus on #diplomacyforgrowth together with Italy’s economic agencies, the business world and the diplomatic-consular network,” Tajani concluded.
