ME: Israel demolishes three Palestinian structures in West Bank

23 Gennaio 2026

(Adnkronos) – Israeli forces have demolished three Palestinian structures that, according to what was declared, had been built illegally on the outskirts of the village of Shuqba, in the central West Bank. The Israeli newspaper Haaretz reports this, explaining that the Civil Administration, the main civilian authority for Palestinians living under Israeli military rule in the Palestinian territory that manages permits, construction, land registration, and demolition orders, has also implemented other “enforcement measures” against several Palestinian buildings in Firing Zone 918, in the hills south of Hebron.

“According to a military order, the area must be made ‘sterile’ for live-fire exercises in the hills south of Hebron and, therefore, all structures in Firing Zone 918 must be removed,” the newspaper explains, highlighting that the area currently hosts ten settler outposts established since the beginning of the war, against which no enforcement measures have been taken.
