Trump evokes sending National Guard to California

(Adnkronos) – The President of the United States, Donald Trump, evoked sending the National Guard to California in his speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos. “If I were governor of California, I would call Trump and say: ‘I need you.’ Because we know how to curb crime, prevent undocumented immigrants from accessing social benefits, stop the creation of criminal sanctuaries, and prevent drug dealers from operating,” Trump said, referring to Gavin Newsom, who participated in the Wef’s work in recent days.

Today, the best place in the United States is Washington D.C., whereas before we sent the National Guard, it was a dangerous place. Now, you can walk around with your children without problems. New restaurants are opening that used to close. We have reduced the crime rate by 64% and we can continue. We will help Californians,” the American president explained.
