(Adnkronos) – “Huge scope” exists to strengthen Italy’s business ties with Saudi Arabia’s largest Eastern Province – a major platform for most of the kingdom’s oil output and exports – the embassy wrote Tuesday on X.
“During his visit to #Dammam, Ambassador (Carlo) Baldocci met w/ the newly appointed President & board of the @AsharqiaChamber to discuss common initiatives&priorities,” read the post.
“From #energy to #logistics, #pharmaceutical & more: there’s huge scope to boost business ties between Italy & the Eastern Province,” the post concluded.
Headquartered in Dammam, Asharqia Chamber, or the Eastern Province Chamber of Commerce and Industry was established in 1952 and aims to bolster economic growth and trade by supporting the private sector.
