Lawmakers to quiz Catholic charity on the plight of persecuted Christians

(Adnkronos) – Italy’s lower house of parliament’s foreign affairs committee will on Wednesday question international Catholic charity Aid to the Church in Need on the persecution of Christian minorities around the world. 

The hearing, at which representatives of Italy’s branch of the charity will be quizzed by the lawmakers, is set for 8.30 am and will be live-streamed on the parliament’s website, according to a statement.
