Syria, talks between US coalition and Kurds to reduce tensions with Damascus

(Adnkronos) – Officials from the US-led international coalition met with representatives of the Kurdish community to try to reduce tensions with Damascus that flared up again in Aleppo, northern Syria. This was stated by Farhad Shami, spokesman for the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) to AFP, explaining that the meeting was convened in Deir Hafer, an area in northern Syria where the government army told the Kurds to evacuate. 

A Syrian army source confirmed to AFP that a coalition force had entered the area.
