(Adnkronos) – A freight train derailed near Essen station in Germany, hours after, on Sunday evening, the scheduled passage of another US military cargo with weapons and equipment bound for Ukraine. There were no injuries. Authorities have opened an investigation into possible sabotage, Bild reports. The US train, which was diverted to an alternative line at the last minute due to delays, was supposed to pass through the same railway segment at 6:40 PM, and the incident occurred at 10:30 PM. Investigators discovered several metal brackets attached to the tracks.
