(Adnkronos) – After the death of a woman by an Ice agent in Minneapolis, tension is high in the USA. Today two people were injured in a shooting involving federal agents in Portland, Oregon. The city’s police department reported in a statement that a man and a woman were taken to the hospital and their conditions are unknown. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) stated that the incident occurred when a member of a Venezuelan gang was stopped and “attempted to run over” the agents with his car.
It is unclear what their conditions are. The FBI’s Portland office stated in a post on X that the shooting involved Customs and Border Protection agents and that they are conducting investigations.
