(Adnkronos) – Foreign minister Antonio Tajani will address Italy’s Senate on crisis-hit Venezuela following the capture by US forces last week of president Nicolas Maduro. Tajani will also brief lawmakers on a fire at a bar in Switzerland’s upscale Crans-Montana ski resort which killed 40 people including six Italian teenagers on New Year’s Eve.
A vote is expected in the lower house of parliament on a possible cross-party resolution put forward by the centre-left opposition Democratic Party, Adnkronos learned from a parliamentary group leaders’ meeting on Thursday.
