(Adnkronos) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky asked his team, engaged in ”another session” of talks today in Paris with US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, to “discuss possible formats for leader-level meetings between Ukraine, other European states, and the United States.” Zelensky himself said this on ‘X’, adding that today’s talks are expected to focus on the issue of the Russian-occupied Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant and the territories.
‘Ukraine does not shy away from the most difficult issues and will never be an obstacle to peace,” but ”peace must be dignified,” the Ukrainian leader added. ”This depends on partners, on whether they guarantee Russia’s real readiness to end the war,” he stressed.
