(Adnkronos) – Hundreds of foreign tourists are stranded on the Yemeni island of Socotra, after flights were cancelled following clashes in the country between government forces and separatists in the south. Local sources told Afp, while Adnkronos learns that a group of Italians is also among the tourists involved. “They are fine,” it is assured. “We have over 400 foreign tourists – Socotra’s deputy governor, responsible for culture and tourism, Yahya bin Afrar, told Afp – their flights have been suspended.”
