Tokyo, Dec. 16 (Jiji Press)–Tokyo police arrested a 39-year-old man, his wife and his common-law wife Tuesday over allegedly secretly filming his sexual intercourse with another woman in her 20s and posting the footage on a video-sharing site. The man, Yohei Ono, his wife Haruka, 28, and common-law wife Rin, 23, who is also his adopted daughter, are believed to have been living together like a polygamous family. They apparently made a living mainly selling secretly filmed videos. Over 800 sexual videos featuring about 100 women have been found from their home. According to investigative sources, the three are suspected of conspiring to secretly film sexual acts between Ono and the woman in her 20s in July last year, setting up cameras beforehand in a hotel room in the Kabukicho nightlife district of Tokyo’s Shinjuku Ward. Ono and the woman came to know each other through social media. Haruka and Rin allegedly stormed into the room soon after the sexual acts and demanded the woman pay about 3 million yen in consolation money. The three suspects are also believed to have provided the content to other individuals through online video platform myfans. They are believed to have engaged in similar schemes repeatedly in and after 2022. Ono had been arrested by Tokyo’s Metropolitan Police Department on Nov. 26 this year, for allegedly confining a woman under 20 for about two months in a condominium in Shinjuku. This woman met Ono also through social media. He gradually became violent and forced her to live with him, threatening to kill her if she ran away. The incident surfaced when she escaped and ran to a police station seeking help. From the confinement site, police seized 37 smartphones and three notebook computers, as well as handcuffs, collars and a stun gun that are believed to have been used for the confinement. Ono’s mother in her 60s, who is believed to have visited the confinement site, told reporters: “I went to my son’s home to do housework, but suddenly I couldn’t get in touch with him.
