Tokyo, Dec. 15 (Jiji Press)–A Japanese health ministry panel on Monday approved the ministry’s plan to raise the monthly cap on out-of-pocket medical expenses in two stages from next summer, reflecting growth in per-capita medical costs. The government will finalize specific increases when drafting its budget for fiscal 2026.
