(Adnkronos) – ”A ceasefire limited to ports and energy infrastructure could be useful”. This is what Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan proposed during a meeting with Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin, according to the Ankara presidency. Turkey, Erdogan reiterated, supports peace efforts between the parties, is ”closely” following talks aimed at ending the conflict between Ukraine and Russia, and is available to host peace negotiations.
During the meeting between Erdogan and Putin on the sidelines of a summit in Turkmenistan, bilateral relations were also discussed, as well as efforts to end the war, as reported by the Anadolu news agency.
