(Adnkronos) – The Israeli security cabinet has approved the “creation and regulation” of 19 settlements in the West Bank, which are illegal under international law. Israeli media reported this, adding that among these are two settlements in the northern West Bank that were dismantled during the so-called “disengagement” of 2005. Israeli Channel 14 reported that the decision was made by far-right Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, who himself lives in an illegal settlement.
