(Adnkronos) – Strategic partners Italy and India “are sending a strong message of peace to the world”, foreign minister Antonio Tajani said in New Delhi on Wednesday at the start of a three-day visit to the country aimed at deepening political and economic ties.
“Where there is trade, there is peace,” Tajani said at the inauguration of the ‘Shared Stories’ exhibition at the Humayun’s Tomb World Heritage Site museum.
A series of artefacts from the Museum of Civilisation and the Montemartini Museum in Rome are among items on show.
“Italy and India are sending a strong message of peace to the world in these difficult times afflicted by so many wars: from Ukraine to the Middle East, from Sudan to Thailand and Cambodia,” Tajani stated.
