(Adnkronos) – Foreign minister Antonio Tajani is chairing the fifth ‘Working Roundtable on the Evolution of the Situation of Italian Companies in Russia’, which aims to help Italy’s business sector in the country, the foreign ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
The roundtable is taking place at the foreign ministry in Rome with guests including representatives from the Customs and Monopolies Agency, the Bank of Italy, the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), state lender Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, export credit agency Sace, investment agency Simest, and Italy’s main private employers’ association Confindustria, said the statement.
Representatives of the major Italian companies with investments in Russia are also taking part in the roundtable, as well as trade associations and companies from industrial sectors which are especially exposed to the Russian market, the statement said.
Italy’s embassy in Moscow and trade associations representing the Italian business community in Russia will also participate remotely, the statement added.
