(Adnkronos) – Former Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernandez has been released from Hazelton maximum-security prison after receiving a ”total and unconditional” pardon from US President Donald Trump. This was reported by the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Hernandez was serving a 45-year prison sentence after being found guilty last year of receiving millions of dollars in bribes and collaborating with drug traffickers, creating a veritable ”cocaine highway”.
