China: Macron for ‘constant dialogue’, visiting from 3 to 5 December

(Adnkronos) – French President Emmanuel Macron will visit China from December 3 to 5. The Élysée confirmed this, specifying that Macron will go to Beijing and then to Chengdu. A meeting with Chinese leader Xi Jinping is expected. 

Macron had visited China in April two years ago. And, the Élysée emphasizes, he wants to “maintain a constant and demanding dialogue with China.” Xi visited France in May 2024.
