Russia, German investigative journalism platform Correctiv declared undesirable

25 Novembre 2025

(Adnkronos) – The German investigative journalism platform Correctiv, which works on Russian disinformation and the networks that the Kremlin builds in Europe, has been declared “undesirable” in Russia. “This means that our activities in Russia are prohibited,” the Essen-based group specified. Russian citizens who have contacts with Correctiv risk being prosecuted by the authorities, and any collaboration with Correctiv is considered a crime under the new classification.

“The Kremlin’s reaction shows how important and effective our work is,” a spokesperson emphasized. Correctiv had revealed details of a meeting of far-right figures, but also from the CDU, held on the outskirts of Berlin in 2023 with Martin Sellner, former leader of the far-right identitarian movement in Austria, author of the term remigration.
