Tokyo, Nov. 24 (Jiji Press)–A car plowed into pedestrians in Tokyo’s Adachi Ward on Monday, killing a man in his 80s and injuring 10 others. An emergency call was made to fire authorities around 12:35 p.m. to report the injuries from a collision involving pedestrians and a passenger car. According to Tokyo’s Metropolitan Police Department, 11 men and women in their 10s to 80s were injured, including a woman in her 20s and a man in his 80s who were unconscious and taken to a hospital, but the man later died. The car is believed to have been stolen and the driver fled the scene.
