(Adnkronos) – The South Korean army has proposed talks with North Korea to avoid border clashes, citing recent incursions by North Korean troops. “To prevent accidental clashes and ease military tensions, our army officially proposes that the two sides hold inter-Korean military talks to discuss defining a clear reference line for the MDL,” Kim Hong-cheol, deputy minister of National Defense Policy, said at a press conference, referring to the military demarcation line at the border.
