Tokyo, Nov. 12 (Jiji Press)–The Japanese government said Tuesday that it will raise monthly salaries and annual bonuses for central government workers for the fourth straight year in fiscal 2025 through next March. The decision is based on recommendations from the National Personnel Authority calling for raising monthly wages by an average of 3.62 pct, or 15,014 yen, and annual bonuses to the equivalent of 4.65 months’ salary, up 0.05 month.
