(Adnkronos) – “Our plane that crashed had 20 crew members on board. Search and rescue operations are underway,” the Turkish Ministry of Defense announced, providing details on the C-130 that crashed on the border between Georgia and Azerbaijan while returning home.
The Georgian Interior Ministry had already confirmed the incident, stating that the plane crashed about five kilometers from the state border with Azerbaijan, and has opened an investigation to clarify the causes of the crash. No information on potential casualties has been released yet.
