(Adnkronos) – Foreign under-secretary Maria Tripodi on Thursday attended the inauguration of Italy’s trade agency ITA’s pavilion at the 8th China International Import Expo taking place in the business hub of Shanghai.
“At China International Import Expo. The inauguration of the @ITAtradeagency Pavilion,” Tripodi wrote on X.
“Our national export plan centres on excellence. From fashion, to jewellery, to luxury goods, which are especially appreciated – also in the Chinese market,” Tripodi continued.
“We are putting Italian know-how on centre-stage!”
CIIE kicked off on Wednesday. It brings together over 4,000 international companies from 155 countries and regions, and 290 Fortune 500 firms and industry leaders, China’s premier Li Qiang told the opening ceremony. The import fair ends on Monday.
