(Adnkronos) – The government has appointed former minister plenipotentiary at Italy’s embassy in Egypt, Michele Quaroni, as diplomatic advisor to defence minister Guido Crossetto, the prime minister’s office said in a statement late on Wednesday.
Foreign minister Antonio Tajani and Crosetto proposed Quaroni for the role, according to the statement.
