(Adnkronos) – Chinese Premier Li Qiang has reiterated his promise that the Asian giant will continue on the path of openness and denounced “unilateralism and protectionism”. Speaking from Shanghai, on the occasion of the China International Import Expo, he stated that a “more modern” China will “certainly bring more stability and positive energy to the world”, official media reported, as the Dragon courts new trade partners.
“Some unilateral moves” and in the name of “protectionism have had a strong impact on the international economic and trade order and have disrupted the world economy,” Li said.
