(Adnkronos) – The leader of the Dutch far-right, Geert Wilders, has publicly admitted defeat in the parliamentary elections, congratulating centrist Rob Jetten, who, at 38, seems destined to become the youngest prime minister of the Netherlands.
With Jetten leading by 28,000 votes, “the chances of the situation changing are minimal. So I congratulated Jetten on his victory,” Wilders told reporters. The far-right leader had previously shared accusations of alleged electoral fraud on social media.
