(Adnkronos) – Roberta di Lecce is Italy’s new envoy to Ivory Coast, the foreign minister wrote Monday on X, congratulating the diplomat on her posting.
“Congratulations to Roberta di Lecce, new Ambassador of Italy in Côte d’Ivoire, read the post, which contained a message from Lecce.
“Italy and Ivory Coast are friends and strategic partners with excellent bilateral relations,” di Lecce stated in her message.
Italy’s 5.5 billion Mattei Plan to spur Africa’s economic growth and stabilise the continent “offers major opportunities to further strengthen political and social ties between our countries and peoples, and a constructive role for Italian businesses,” di Lecce continued.
