29 Ottobre 2025

Tokyo, Oct. 29 (Jiji Press)–Honda Motor Co. presented Wednesday the world premiere of the prototype of the “Honda 0 alpha,” a next-generation electric SUV, at the Tokyo Big Sight convention center the day before the official kickoff of the Japan Mobility Show. The entry model of the Japanese automaker’s “0 Series” will go on sale globally, chiefly in Japan and India, in 2027, Honda President and CEO Toshihiro Mibe said. The flagship “Honda 0 Saloon” and the “Honda 0 SUV,” which have already been unveiled, are scheduled to be launched in Japan by March 2028. Mibe also introduced the “Super-One Prototype” small electric vehicle featuring “boost mode” for “outstanding acceleration.” Its mass-produced model is set for market launch in regions where small EV demand is high, including Japan, other parts of Asia and Britain, starting next year. “The joy of driving Honda cars … will never change,” he said.
