(Adnkronos) – Five Sudanese Red Cross workers have been killed in an attack in Bara, in the state of North Kordofan, among the main battlefields in the civil war in the African country. Three other workers are missing, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies announced. “They were clearly identifiable with Red Crescent vests, which means full protection, and had identification cards. Any attack on a humanitarian team is unacceptable,” the IFRC denounced.
