(Adnkronos) – Global energy markets and joint projects to diversify the energy supply were the focus of talks in Ankara on Monday between Italian gas and oil giant Eni’s chief executive Claudio Descalzi and Turkey’s president Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Eni said in a statement.
“The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss current dynamics in global energy markets and identify potential collaborative initiatives aimed at diversifying the energy supply from different vectors and geographies,” read the statement.
Turkey’s energy and natural resources minister Alparslan Bayraktar also attended Descalzi-Erdogan talks, the statement noted.
