(Adnkronos) – Israel has authorized a team composed of Red Cross members, Egyptian rescuers, and a Hamas representative to cross the Yellow Line in the Gaza Strip to search for the bodies of deceased Israeli hostages. This was announced by Israeli government spokeswoman, Shosh Bedrosian.
“Under strict supervision of the Israeli army, the Red Cross, the Egyptian technical team, and a Hamas member have been authorized to cross the Yellow Line to locate the position of our hostages,” Bedrosian told reporters. A Red Cross spokesperson confirmed the organization’s participation in the search operations.
