(Adnkronos) – Italy’s foreign minister Antonio Tajani on Friday urged the European Union to “take a step” forward and create a banking union and a single market for capital and energy as part of a “real business policy”.
“Europe is called to take a step forward; it is stuck in the middle of the ford and must make a further effort. We must achieve banking union, a single capital and energy market,” he said.
“We need a real business policy. Economic and market growth depends on the combination of manufacturing and service companies.”
Tajani made the remarks to the association of Italian insurers (Ania).
