(Adnkronos) – New drone attack by the Rapid Support Forces targeting Khartoum airport. An attack near the Sudanese capital’s airport had already been reported yesterday. According to what was confirmed to Agence France-Presse by a military source, “drones again targeted Khartoum airport at dawn”. The attack is attributed by the source to the “terrorist militia”, a reference to the Rapid Support Forces which have been fighting against the army since 2023. According to the source, air defense managed to intercept the drones. The reopening of the airport for domestic flights, for the first time in two years, had been announced for today.
