(Adnkronos) – The Louvre museum in Paris has commissioned a private Israeli intelligence company to track down the jewels stolen yesterday from the Apollo gallery. This was announced by Zvika Naveh, CEO of Cgi Group, speaking to the Afp news agency.
“The Louvre has exceptionally asked us to identify those responsible for the theft and to recover the stolen goods,” Naveh said, specifying that the museum’s choice was influenced by the results achieved by his company in 2019, when it managed to locate works stolen for one billion euros from the Dresden museum. Cgi is co-chaired by former Shin Bet head, Yair Naveh.
