Over 500 Firms, Groups to Join Japan Mobility Show 2025

Tokyo, Oct. 15 (Jiji Press)–More than 500 companies and organizations will take part in the Japan Mobility Show 2025, opening Oct. 31 at the Tokyo Big Sight convention center, to showcase cutting-edge technologies, concept cars and classic vehicles. The number of exhibitors will be the highest ever, including the era of the event’s predecessor, the Tokyo Motor Show. Among programs at this year’s show, the Tokyo Future Tour 2035 will offer visitors a tour-style attraction using robots and artificial intelligence to imagine future lifestyles and mobility. Also, about 30 iconic cars from the postwar era to today will be on display, such as Suzuki Motor Corp.’s original Jimny and Honda Motor Co.’s City. From abroad, German automakers BMW AG and Mercedes Benz Group AG will join the show, while South Korea’s Kia Corp. will participate for the first time. Other Asian automakers will also have a notable presence. In all, seven foreign car brands will take part in the show, up from three in the previous event in 2023. Advance tickets are priced at 2,700 yen, with free admission for high school students and younger. Organizers expect more than one million visitors by the show’s closing on Nov. 9.
