(Adnkronos) – A United Nations humanitarian convoy was hit by Russian armed forces in the Kherson oblast, southern Ukraine. Local Ukrainian authorities stated this, adding that there were no casualties in the attack. “The occupiers deliberately targeted OCHA trucks with drones and artillery fire,” the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, wrote Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the military administration of the Kherson region, on social media.
The United Nations convoy consisted of ”four white vehicles with insignia: not military equipment, but cars carrying aid to the population,” Prokudin wrote. ”One vehicle caught fire, another was severely damaged,” he added.
