Mideast: Tajani to brief lawmakers on Israel-Hamas truce, hostage return deal

(Adnkronos) – Following this week’s historic agreement between Israel and Palestinian Islamist group Hamas on a ceasefire in Gaza and the release of Israeli hostages, Italy’s foreign minister will brief MPs on the accords on Wednesday, the parliament said in a statement. 

Tajani’s briefing is scheduled for 9am, the statement said.
