Yanmar to Launch Emergency Power Generator for Data Centers

Kobe, Oct. 9 (Jiji Press)–Yanmar Energy System Co., a subsidiary of Yanmar Holdings Co., said Wednesday that it will launch a high-capacity emergency power generator for data centers for the first time in Japan. The Japanese company will put some of the GY175 series of emergency power generators on sale within fiscal 2025, which ends next March. “Japan, where the central and local governments are actively promoting measures to attract data centers, is an area where we can expect an increase in data center installation,” Yanmar Energy System President Koji Yamashita said.
