(Adnkronos) – Italy with gather with other European countries, Arab nations, Canada and Indonesia in Paris on Thursday as part of efforts to end Israel’s devastating two-year-old war on Palestinian Islamist group Hamas in Gaza, foreign minister Antonio Tajani said on Wednesday.
“On Thursday, we will be in Paris with European countries, Arab states, Canada and Indonesia – to try to contribute to peace-building,” Tajani told reporters in Rome after an Italy-China intergovernmental committee meeting at Villa Madama.
“We will also seek to make a contribution to the reconstruction and security of the entire region,” Tajani said.
