(Adnkronos) – Ukrainian special forces recently struck a unit of the Russian Baltic Sea Fleet, the Grad, a new type of corvette armed with Buyan M missiles, while it was a thousand kilometers from the front line, on Lake Onega. The ship was en route from the Baltic Sea to the Caspian Sea along the internal Volga-Baltic waterway of rivers and lakes, which connects the Volga-Don Canal to the Don River and the Sea of Azov and then to the Black Sea, a route that, after this attack, can no longer be considered invulnerable. Ukraine, Kyiv claims, has demonstrated its ability to systematically strike deep into Russian territory, hundreds and even thousands of kilometers from the front line, with a record of two thousand kilometers, after a refinery in Tyumen was hit yesterday.
