(Adnkronos) – The Spanish government has approved the royal decree that provides for the use of therapeutic cannabis, but only in hospitals and if prescribed by specialists. The text drafted by the Ministry of Health in Madrid does not specify the pathologies that can be treated, but it is expected that these are those for which other traditional medicines are not effective. Therapeutic cannabis cannot be sold in Spanish pharmacies, nor can it be prescribed by family doctors.
