Kyoto, Oct. 1 (Jiji Press)–Nintendo Co. said Tuesday that it established a subsidiary in Singapore on Friday, its first unit in Southeast Asia, to boost its business in the region. The new unit, Nintendo Singapore Pte. Ltd., is capitalized at 8 million Singapore dollars. The Japanese video game maker said that it is also considering setting up a subsidiary in Thailand.
