(Adnkronos) – Thousands of people participated in a demonstration today in New York against the war in Gaza, while Benjamin Netanyahu was giving his speech today at the UN. The procession, which started from Times Square, actually reached the Glass Palace when the Israeli prime minister had finished his speech, writes the New York Times, but the demonstrators applauded the news that many leaders and delegates left the hall when Netanyahu began to speak.
Some protesters protested against the outgoing mayor of New York, Eric Adams, who attended the speech along with the Israeli prime minister’s wife, Sarah Netanyahu.
