(Adnkronos) – French Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu announced today that he will appoint his government “before the start of parliamentary work,” scheduled for October 1st. In an interview with the newspaper Le Parisien, the prime minister, appointed on September 9th, anticipated: “The government will be appointed before the start of parliamentary work. I want to continue working on a budget project, the ministers I want to join the government will have to support it.” A clarification that seems to exclude the entry of defectors from the Socialist Party, because the future ministers will have to “share the main orientations of the current majority.”
