(Adnkronos) – Dan Katz, the chief of staff of Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, will leave the Trump administration to become first deputy director of the International Monetary Fund. Sources reveal this, pointing out that the former Manhattan Institute analyst, Katz will become the highest-ranking US official at the IMF, working directly under Director Kristalina Georgieva. “He is one of the secretary’s closest advisors, it’s a big win on the international stage for President Trump’s America First economic agenda,” sources quoted by the New York Post said.
