(Adnkronos) – The new leader of the Japanese Liberal Democratic Party will be chosen on October 4th, following the resignation of Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba, who left after the latest electoral defeat. This was announced by the president of the LDP electoral commission, Ichiro Aisawa, according to whom the notice for the vote will be published on September 22nd and the vote count will take place on October 4th.
