(Adnkronos) – Spain has recalled its ambassador to Israel, Ana Salomon Perez, for consultations due to the “defamatory accusations” made against Madrid by the Netanyahu government and following the entry ban imposed on Deputy Prime Minister and Labor Minister, Yolanda Diaz, and the Minister for Youth, Sira Rego, both from the left-wing Sumar party. This was reported by the El Pais website, specifying that the Spanish Foreign Minister, Jose Manuel Albares, recalled the ambassador “due to the defamatory accusations against Spain and the unacceptable measures against two members of our government”, according to official sources from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Madrid.
